A little modification and they look awesome and sound even better. Bought the 6.5 pro mids for my 07 jeep jk and like you say WE LIKE IT LOUD. So got the 2 inch tweets and pro 4 inch mid in the cherokee doors with alpine head unit no amp yet but daughter talking about wanting a sub now. So I know where I'll be getting one. Guys keep up the good work.
I replaced the 5.25" speakers I had with the Gen-X 6.5 component speakers, and they give a nice crisp sound where I can understand the lyrics to the songs I listen to without having my bass overpower it.

Went to upgrade my speakers in my 2011 C6 Grand Sport and read nearly everywhere 6.5 for the doors so as a chump did. Pop the door cover off see a 10 inch Nose speaker and went WTH. Measured and said yeppers 10 going in but gotta get shallow ones. Looked at the big known companies and seen DS18 's the flatness speaker coil caught my eye. Then seen these were the less deep as others so pulled the trigger on one. Took things apart and did a fitness test Heck Yaa just had to make a plate to get the right side factory holes to hold the new speaker. Vettes have fiberglass doors so can't just drill anywhere. Did that Perfecto. Gotta get another for the passenger door now!
