The ZXI-5254 features a Kevlar cone woofer with a rubber surround, the perfect combination for delivering precise and punchy bass responses. Kevlar is a durable and lightweight material that is commonly used in bulletproof vests: but is ideal for creating speaker cones due to its excellent strength-to-weight ratio. Combined with the rubber surround the ZXI-5254 comes with reduces unwanted vibrations, resulting in a cleaner and more accurate sound.
The 2-way design on the ZXI-5254 equips the 5.25” woofer with a 1” Neodymium Magnet Tweeter, which delivers unmatched clarity and detail in the higher end of the frequency range. Neodymium magnets are known for their lightweight and powerful properties, allowing the speaker to reproduce accurate high frequencies without increasing the overall weight of the speaker resulting in a more balanced and natural sound.
With frequency responses ranging from 40Hz – 20KHz, the ZXI-5254 is built to deliver clear and powerful sound across the entire frequency spectrum.

Installed a set of 4x6 in front doors. Set of 5.25 in rear panels. A 10 inch shallow mount sub. Powered by the 4000.5 amp. Was skeptical on the sound that would come from smaller speakers. But was very impressed. I just purchased another complete set of DS18 equipment for my 1989 Toyota Landcruiser.

I usethese for my 6.5" JBL Marine speakers I added to my camper on the outside. I keep these covers on going down the road and during storage. So far thr first set has been on there 3 years and still going strong. I just got another set to have in the camper in case one happens to blow off.
The screen is really nice and easy to read. I like having a knob for volume. Use single folders for music, and the usb is the loudest input. The remote is nice, and DVDs can be controlled by the screen. Be better- the aux sounds terrible, and the BT audio is low. Screws included. Can’t be beat for the price.
They are amazing my buddy has four and they are super loud and clear love to put them in my vehicle just waiting on spacers

Speakers were fine. Sounds great. Shipping with USPS was awful. The package was lost for over a week, and then finally found after I filed a complaint. Don’t guess that DS18 could do anything about that, but it definitely can’t be allowed to become a problem that’s ongoing. Y’all may have to consider alternate ways to ship. Again, very pleased with your product—exactly what my son wanted.
