Bumpin and Slappin

I finally have some punchy mid-bass. With the right song these will punch very hard like others have said. My set up is the following.
In the front fairing I have the PRO-HY6.4MSL. In my lowers I have PRO-CF6.4SL. Both these are wired together in parallel to get a 2ohm load to make my front stage. I have the high pass set to 120hz to meet both speakers in middle.
I have these PRO-CF6.2NR in my tour pack pods. I had to buy some mounting ring which is fine to me if I get the sound I want. My pods do have a 2” whole to share air space with the tour pack. I have these set at 80hz. Boy do these slap can’t wait till after break in.
I set the whole system with an o-scope. Found my head unit, and amp distorts level. I also ran all weather insulated and shield OCF 12gauge to all speakers. Soldered and heat tape all wire connections.
My amp is a Hertz SP 4.900. I am getting 267 rms @ 2ohm on each channel. Let me tell you at the max volume sitting on the bike it will make your ears bleed. Standing away it sounds like a concert. I had many folk at Sturgis come and asked who installed it and what brand. Hopefully I sent some folks your way.
Oh by the way all the speakers survived heavy rains. So if you’re worried about the water I would not be. It’s survive, heavy mountain rains and a few bike washes.
So far I am impressed and enjoying Ds18. Time will tell but right now I am a happy camper.

A good bang for the buck

Recently installed in a 2014 streetglide, power precision ma400 amp pushing 150w each speaker. These speakers easily handle the power, they sound really good and they can get loud.
Minor and I mean a 1mm minor on fitment. They would dang near be flush when installing. But every bike is different.
Good price compared to other top tier speakers.
Shipping was fast, speakers look good and sound excellent.

Similar electrical specs to the OE sub. Wiring it to "H/K" factory harness is very easy. Mounting took a little bit longer. Made a custom panel out of MDF. Im satisfied with how it sounds so far. Now I need to sort out the rattling panels xD

Easy replacement

Great product if you run lanes or like demoing all day. Easy to replace, and you can be back up and running in an hour. The only glue needed is for the dust cover.
