The sound quality is amazing and very loud I drive a soft top jeep with big tires that are very loud and I can’t hear them over the speakers. 10/10 would definitely buy them again.
I'm using these 2-pair of EXL 5.25 with a self powered sub, on a pontoon boat in MN I know its not in the best environment but they are well protected from the elements. They are replacing original equipment. I like to listen at a above average listening level. TheEXL 5.25 are so easy to listen to at higher listening levels. NO ear fatigue and they have no sense of being over powering thanks to the large voice coil (old school Fosgate 150) The build on the EXL 5.25 are very sturdy there wont be any warped basket, they are cast not stamped, it is an unexpected quality level for this price point. You will be more than pleased with their performance, and your purchase. I absolute recommend Bill Merdan

It is my first system in my life (43 years old) and even people with experience in car audio are impressed. More people need to know about DS18 over here on the west coast and I am proud to own such a quality product and will continue to buy again. I had no idea what I was doing but I guess I did it right. Very pleased with the results, thought I had to upgrade my electrical system in my Toyota corolla because my alternator only pushes 80amps but I guess not, I am assuming that this amp is efficient. My head lights don't even dim although they are LED so maybe that's why but everything works perfect. Thank you so much and I will tell everyone about your great products. DS18 all the way!

They are super loud and exactly what I was wanting, have great vocal clarity, and overall adds the right amount of detail I was looking for.
I haven't installed them yet so can't really give much feedback right now on them
The red dome and frame look awesome and the sound output is loud and clear. After I installed it in my client's Cerwin Vega PA speakers, it brought the vocals out very nicely, even at higher volumes.
Excellent head unit for tuners. I love that this entire unit can be controlled, adjusted, and fine tuned all from the the app on your phone. With 48 bands to adjust and the ability to turn of ch 1-2 / ch 3-4 / ch 4-5/ and sub of with push of a button when tuning is a game changer. Such a great innovative design!
With that said the first one I received was bad outta the box ( internal issue) no display & no sound output from head unit , warranty was kinda tricky, but it was handled and I received credit and replacement in a week.
This new dsp (i48dsp) is amazing, it has settings for virtually everything adjustable thru your phone on the fly, and now i can crank it up way higher than before this dsp install, if you're thinking about a dsp, get this one.

I bought a set from a local shop and 5 stars are not enough. They are cleaner and louder than the alpine type r's they replaced. They sound better than the focal as 165s I've had before and are MUCH cheaper. If you are thinking about new midrange/midbass, these are the ones
