Coming at this from a different perspective.... I build speakers for Ham/Amateur Radio. This requires a single speaker capable of full range. I built a 5 1/2 X 5 1/2 cub shaped cabinet and installed the DS18 ZXI-354 3.5 inch full range speaker and it sounds fantastic! The piece of equipment driving the speaker is a Yaesu FTDX-10 Transceiver($1500) and the DS18 produces a very clear and precise voice transmission. I have built hundreds of speaker boxes and I would have to say this little speaker is the absolute best that I have ever seen! I liked it so much I just ordered two more. Thanks DS18! Great Product! Would recommend taking to a shop for installation. I’ve got a 2025 Jeep Gladiator and my only complaint is how difficult it is to disassemble the dash.
Also note this is not exactly plug and play if you intend on Amplifying tweeters and Dash speakers. These are extremely Loud and clear on Vocals.
If you plan on doing The Sound bar too, you have two RCA’s labeled FR & FL. You need a RCA Y splitter, DS18 Makes them. You actually need 2 red and 2 black splitters. Would highly recommend the speakers if you’re looking to Wind Proof the audio.
Never had subs this small but was suggested to try it and happy I did! I had 2 12s in my gladiator and wasn’t to happy with it and tried 4 of these and the sound is night and day difference! I have them in a ds18 ported box on a FR 3.5k
Have not installed them yet but the quality looks Superior
