Excellent Unit

The KEQ30 sounds great. It has a high S/N ratio, and the 1/3 octave frequencies allow for great customization of my sound. Most equalizers' lowest knob is 50 hz. The way I hear it, with massive sealed boxes (2×12" and 1x15"), 50 hz is a boomy annoying tone. Being able to adjust the 50 hz knob down while cranking up the 40 hz and 31.5 hz brings out the bass guitar and synthesized bass like never before. The sound is clean and rich.
Since it's a trunk mount, and has super low noise, I have the 7 band on the dash for quick adjustments on a cd to cd basis.
Note: with 30 knobs, it took a couple of hours to get the hang of making adjustments. But the improvement in sound quality is well worth the extra effort.

I competed in IASCA for 10 years so I'm familiar with this, also ran Audio Control EQT'S most of it so I understand this product. Won 3rd at world finals in 99 with MTX mostly.
Seems solid so far but turning some of the knobs turned the adjacent knobs the opposite way... not to cool. Rated to send higher voltage down the line and so far seems solid. Keep in mind that my current project is for a daily driver (or used to be) and I was on the cutting edge of technology for many years.
