Put these in my ram 1500 under the rear seats, I don’t have much space, these bump. Great travel/clean cut base/they look nice. Currently have them hooked up to a 800x1 kicker amp on a low setting for break in and am going to put in ds18’s 2500x1 amp, they can take a lot of abuse, personally I’d say best shallow mounting sub for the money, I’ve been thru a few! Hit like there a big magnet deep mounting sub!
Just got it yesterday. It is well built very excited to hear it in the tour pack on my Harley. Not sure why it is not under the motorcycle category? Way way way nicer than the $150 that is listed in the motorcycle category.
I just put one of these in my 2022 Toyota Tacoma and paired it with a 500watt jl audio amp and this thing bumps Im very happy that I went with this speaker!!
Just dropped 2 in my Trailboss on a 1k 1 ohm bridged amp with a converter…that’s right a Converter for stock (you ain’t getting me jackers) and let me tell you…. Everyone says PS…GO with the IXS!! Clean heavy hits..dolph doin flips at 3+

Let me start by saying this, I sold my kidney on the black market and bought 26 of these. I put them in my nans sprinter van. I may or may not have given her a heart attack before being launched at Mach Jesus towards the sun. Its getting a little hot but hey.... it was worth the bump session

I swapped out my stock speakers and used these ds18 speakers. Only issue was that I had to use a heat gun to heat up the inside plastic housing on one side to to make just a little more room so the speaker would fit into place. Make sure your speed control settings are on and adjusted upward. I can now hear my audio when traveling down the road. They have good clean clear crisp sound. I would recommend them.

I purchased these to replace a pair of Focal 6.5" door speakers. The sound is extremely clear and the voice coils are extremely louder than my old 6.5" speakers. I also have the ZXI 6x9's. I finally have highs that aren't drownded out by my subs. Thanks DS18!!
I have a 2018 Wrangler JL… these speakers were a fantastic addition to my DS18 build! I used these as a replacement to the dash tweeters to add more bang and they delivered!

I recently purchased the DS18 JL/JLU Exclusive Wheel Well Subwoofer Enclosure Package, and I could not be happier with it.
