The 8HD800NCFD-8 is the latest addition to DS18’s line of hybrid loudspeakers with built-in compression horn driver. This high-powered hybrid pro audio speaker combines the extreme volume of our 8" mid-ranges with a high-wattage compression driver, delivering a full range of frequencies with absolute precision.
With a nominal diameter of 8" (203mm) and a combined nominal impedance of 8 Ohms for the woofer and 8 Ohms for the driver, these speakers provide optimal performance in any audio setup. I added 4 6x9 and they changed the sound of my harley sound system....
Súper quality and súper loud
Great sound, been playing for 4 months now
This is an awesome 6x9 I have installed in my Harley saddlebag lid and is water proof and does not let any water in the bags and has gotten wet many times. Has more mid bass than hertz sx690 neos and gets alot louder and has more highs also. My hertz kept blowing the tweeters. These can handle alot more power and keep on playing. I have them Highpass at 80hz and running full rated 250 rms and they hit hard for a 6x9 on a bike. I can hear them and feel them even at 80 mph on my bike unlike most 6x9s on bikes you tend to not hear them after 50mph.
If they could come out with these with neo magnets on the woofers they would have a truly beast of a speaker.
