DS18’s SLG-FKP6LD allows you to place speakers in the front kick panel area of the driver and passenger side of your Slingshot!

The SLG-FKP6LD comes with a pair of durable Polyethylene Front Kick Panel Pods each loaded with one 6.5” Waterproof Speaker (the NXL-6BK) and a high powered 3.8” super bullet tweeter with RGB LED lights (the PRO-TW1L). LED BTC REQUIRED FOR LIGHTING FEATURES (SOLD SEPARATELY)
The NXL-6BK is a 2-way, waterproof speaker designed to deliver amazing full range sound quality without sacrificing space or worrying about damage from moisture or the elements.
The PRO-TW1L is an EXTREMELY powerful and versatile Super Bullet Tweeter that delivers huge sound despite it’s miniature size.

These DS-18 tweeters deliver a vast improvement in overall sound quality over the factory tweeters, even when used with the factory front 6x9’s and rear 6.5” speakers in my ‘06 Toyota Tacoma (non JBL). They open up the top end so much that equalizer can dial in much more treble/high end. The resulting vocals and hi-end are much cleaner than the stock tweeters, which allows stronger more treble to be dialed in. This also can be balanced with slightly more mid-range and bass. The overall sound is much better. I plan to replace those remaining stock speakers but am very very pleased with the performance of just these DS-18 tweeters.

These are precisely what I was looking for to mount a set of DS18 6.5 speakers to the side panels.

LOVE THE SPEAKER & ITS REALLY LOUD. THE PROBLEM I HAVE IS THAT THE AMP ON BACK OF SPEAKER BOX GETS SO HOT U CAN LAY IT FLAT ON GROUND H ACTUALLY USE IT AS AN INDUCTION COOKING STOVE. IM BEING SO SERIOUS. PLEZ WATCH KIDS AROUND THIS UNIT IF U PURCHASE 1. IT WILL CAUSE SERIOUS BURNS & AN EMERGENCY ROOM TRIP & A BILL MUCH HIGHER THAN U PAY FOR THIS SPEAKER.

Overall the speakers are over what was expecting sounds very loud keep in mind I used an external amp probably the only complain is a little the quality of the sound but those speakers are much more expensive
Bought 4 of the pro bullet loud speakers to upgrade the factory speakers in my 02 Audi a4 revived the speakers within a week even with a holiday weekend in between. Install was easy with a little modification of the old speaker housing it fit perfect. Also was able to pull the casing off of the 2in pei dome tweeter and slide it right where the factory tweeter went with no modifications and it stays perfect for a clean factory look all around. The sq is very impressive and almost twice as loud as my factory system. Note all of these speakers are just run off the head unit no amp yet and they are still amazing, looking at getting the 300w 4 channel amp sold by ds18 to finish it off
I’ll have to say, either your video doesn’t do it justice or they just sound horrible.

5 stars This amp is what you want . I installed on my Street Glide ; fits perfectly inside the fairing on top of my head unit . Plenty of power and sound at highway speeds trust me you won’t be disappointed . It was packaged nice with easy to follow instructions for DIY installation. What are you waiting for?
