For the price I am impressed. And I don't mean that lightly. It really sounds good if yor setup is all wired correctly and tuned properly. Most people will leave bad reviews on subs but fail to realize its faulty setup. The bass is rich, I have one single sub wired in parallel down to 2 ohm load 1 channel on my 2 channel 800 rms amp. Was not able to bridge it since it can only handle 4ohms bridged which wod be lower than the 400watts I get from the single channel. Tuned my head unit to 125hz and its amazing. Just a pinch of gain on the amp at its more than enough. Great for people that arent trying to rattle their mirror off. Clean, rich and plenty bass, i havent pushed it to see how it would be at higher gain because I'm not into that kind if abuse on my system.
In short. Buy it. Connect it correctly. Enjoy.

Put these in my ram 1500 under the rear seats, I don’t have much space, these bump. Great travel/clean cut base/they look nice. Currently have them hooked up to a 800x1 kicker amp on a low setting for break in and am going to put in ds18’s 2500x1 amp, they can take a lot of abuse, personally I’d say best shallow mounting sub for the money, I’ve been thru a few! Hit like there a big magnet deep mounting sub!
I love them they sound great along with the looks I have to say that I don't agree with the filters that they come with I feel that they do distort a little bit and so I gotten the 4.7uf 100v and that cleaned them up Alot on clarity the ones that come with these tweeters are 4.7 UF 250v if you change them to the ones I have you won't be disappointed these tweeters perform beautiful highs I have the paired with my pro x 6.5 witch I'm planning to get another pair of the mids in future !
There was a break-in time, maybe 15 minutes, but after that they have sounded great, a nice clear bottom to the sound.

Had 1 speaker out of the 4 ordered come damaged. Emailed DS-18 and they sent me a free replacement, great customer service, fast responses. Will definitely be ordering more from them!
