Love it

Sounds GREAT.. does not take up much more room than the factory one. I do wish they actually had instructions and restall bolts. But.. the look and sound is wonderful

Truly is plug and play

NOT plug and play not even close.

1. Much assembly required. Put in tweeters.. oops no mounting screws.. go to hardware store buy some. No wire connectors for tweeters -- either get those while you're getting bolts or get a soldering iron. Spend time putting it all together.... you plug, they play.
2. Bar itself is too long won't sit flat, had to dremel the ends to make it flat/flush to attempt to bolt it in.
3. Wait. The HOLES DON'T LINE UP RIGHT... get the dremel out again.
4. Stock Bolts won't work. Stock washers are two wide for the grooves in the bar, and too short otherwise. Go to hardware store again to buy new bolts (just like the other reviewer mentioned).
5. DS18 BTC LED app won't even install on newer Android phones.

Would it really hurt to include what's really needed? Might want to measure again.
And no freaking directions at ALL. If you're not handy with electrical/stereos (I am), good luck. Good thing this is a plug and play kit -- wait its not
6. BTC Controller comes with ZERO instructions. What's the damn button for? Connecting with bluetooth I think, do you press it once or hold it down? IDK BECAUSE THERE'S NO INSTRUCTIONS. Worse yet it was determined my controller was messed up (kept the power on the WHOLE time).

Lastly why does the Controller need two 12 inputs (switch, battery), its 10A, I have a jeep with aux switches (15a), shouldn't need to run to the battery..

Ok, yes it was a PITA to install, just don't expect to not have to work at it bit.

Good news is, sounds great, it is loud (We like it loud don't we), and speakers have good bass response (pretty much dwarf the factory sub) and crystal clear on the highs.

NOT plug and play

Let start by saying that this review is only for the plug and play. This is not plug and play for the Jeep Jl, You will need to run at a minimum Hot and ground wire, You will need to modify the holes on the new sound bar so that it lines up when mounting, You will need Longer bolts than the factory sound bar ones. The only thing plug and play on this soundbar is the Pig Tail that plugs into the old sound bar from jeep. So, if you were to remove your stock JL sound bar and hold this new sound bar and plug it in (after you mount and wire the speakers first) in to the Jeeps Harness.... Then yeah thats the only plug and play with this sound bar. MOUNTING a whole different story. NOW!!! after saying all that You need two people to mount but after all said and done. The difference in sound is definitely better.

Great Battery

Amazing compact amp

I needed to upgrade one of my amps to have more rms to the new set of door speakers I am running. There powering ds18 neo series. And the way I needed it mounted under the seat there was no way a normal amp would fit. For a small foot print pumping out over 200 rms in a reasonable price this met the needs. Haven't had to worry about clipping with this amp like the other one from another vendor.

Exceptional Product!

Really nice kit, AMP is also very solid and compact, fits nicely under the seat on the low profile AMP rack I bought !
Would recommend taking to a shop for installation. I’ve got a 2025 Jeep Gladiator and my only complaint is how difficult it is to disassemble the dash.

Also note this is not exactly plug and play if you intend on Amplifying tweeters and Dash speakers. These are extremely Loud and clear on Vocals.

If you plan on doing The Sound bar too, you have two RCA’s labeled FR & FL. You need a RCA Y splitter, DS18 Makes them. You actually need 2 red and 2 black splitters. Would highly recommend the speakers if you’re looking to Wind Proof the audio.

Great subs

Never had subs this small but was suggested to try it and happy I did! I had 2 12s in my gladiator and wasn’t to happy with it and tried 4 of these and the sound is night and day difference! I have them in a ds18 ported box on a FR 3.5k
