It’s an amazing tweeter and it does the job it’s clear and loud
It was really easy ti install just the tweeters were the hardest to do but other then that it was easy and it really loud for not having any amp

I installed these on my wife’s 2025 Streetglide. She was having problems hearing her music at normal traveling speeds. She says these speakers are amazing. She doesn’t even need to turn them up over half way.

I had switched out my factory to kickers and my friend had DS18. Which his was much clearer. So I switched out the dash, knees, and soundbar and it so clear. Now I need to switch out the sub.
They are a great JL OEM replacement sound quality is great
Let me start by saying this, I sold my kidney on the black market and bought 26 of these. I put them in my nans sprinter van. I may or may not have given her a heart attack before being launched at Mach Jesus towards the sun. Its getting a little hot but hey.... it was worth the bump session

I swapped out my stock speakers and used these ds18 speakers. Only issue was that I had to use a heat gun to heat up the inside plastic housing on one side to to make just a little more room so the speaker would fit into place. Make sure your speed control settings are on and adjusted upward. I can now hear my audio when traveling down the road. They have good clean clear crisp sound. I would recommend them.

I purchased these to replace a pair of Focal 6.5" door speakers. The sound is extremely clear and the voice coils are extremely louder than my old 6.5" speakers. I also have the ZXI 6x9's. I finally have highs that aren't drownded out by my subs. Thanks DS18!!
I have a 2018 Wrangler JL… these speakers were a fantastic addition to my DS18 build! I used these as a replacement to the dash tweeters to add more bang and they delivered!
