Inside DS18’s Atlantic City Truck Meet Takeover

Inside DS18’s Atlantic City Truck Meet Takeover

Atlantic City Truck Meet got shut down! This year’s meet was LOUD — that means an insane booth, demo rigs that shook the boardwalk, and enough power to give the Atlantic Ocean a bassline. Over 20,000 attendees. 1,500+ trucks. And one mission: prove why DS18 runs truck audio.

We didn’t haul the best custom audio rigs this meet has ever seen OVER 5,000 miles out just to smile for photos. This blog is your full recap of the madness — the long haul from HQ, the face-melting demos, the celeb cameos (yeah, we’ll get to that), and the moments that make the lifestyle worth living.

Let’s relive the weekend that raised the bar for truck audio — and left no doubt that DS18 dominates.

The Road to Atlantic City

Cross-country missions are nothing new to #TEAMDS18. Atlantic City was the finale of a multi-city haul, pounding pavement through storms and a trailer stacked with nothing but the loudest in truck audio!

Hauling the Thunder

Crossing the country was tough. But getting out of Florida? That was the real battle.

Our convoy rolled deep — three demo trucks, two support vehicles, and trailers stacked with enough subs, mids, amps, and lighting gear to build full-blown systems on-site. From Miami to Atlantic City, it was over 1,200 miles of summer heat, downpours, construction zones, and delays — and that’s before the real work even started.

If you’ve ever driven Florida northbound, you already know: it takes six hours just to leave the state. Add in steam-thick rain, low-visibility fog, and you’ve got yourself a mission.

Georgia and the Carolinas gave us a break, but by the time we hit D.C., northeast congestion tried to slow us down again. Didn’t matter. We had this event marked on our calendars all year, and we weren’t about to be late.

Our team went full-send the entire route — rotating drivers, protecting sensitive gear, and keeping fans hyped with live updates across our socials.

Setting the Stage: DS18 Booth and Setup

Nobody pulled up to Bader Field deeper than we did. Our setup was fully loaded – wrapped in explosive audio force and raw attitude.

Massive Booth Layout

We had a massive display trailer airbrushed in neon splatter and DS18's signature graffiti style. Front and center: our demo trailer wide open, packed with custom Jeep soundbars loaded with RGB-lit NXL speakers — mids and tweeters all synced and singing in perfect harmony.

  • Our custom DS18 canopy tents gave fans a chance to get up close with new gear, and talk tech with #TEAMDS18
  • Stacks of speakers and amps lined up like candy, with real-time demos showing off the power under the hood.
  • Behind the controls? Mr. DS18 himself — adjusting EQ settings on the fly, dialing in demos for every crowd

The booth was designed to do one thing: pull people in and blow them away. We also had demo vehicles up front, keeping watch over the action.

Bringing Out The Big Guns

The legends in Jeep audio were on full display at this years Atlantic City Truck Meet – two of DS18’s LOUDEST, most iconic builds.

Big Bad Wolf 3.0: Louder, Meaner, Built for War

The Big Bad Wolf made its triumphant return to Atlantic City. Drenched in a vicious wrap of electric blues, neon magentas, and jagged red slashes, it looked like it tore straight through the sound barrier. Deep-dish blood-red wheels to match the fury under the hood.

But around back? A full stunt wall packed with DS18 high-output mids and tweeters, stacked one on top of the other like heavy artillery. And behind them? Twin 15-inch subs locked in a coffin-style enclosure, tuned specifically for the meet.

Hair tricks? Light work. Distortion? Doesn’t live here. Big Bad Wolf 3.0 shakes crowds and makes believers.

The Gladiator 6x6 — Now With Even More BOOM

Already one of the most insane off-road builds in the country, the 6x6 Jeep Gladiator showed up with a brand-new attitude — and a whole new level of boom. Under the hood (and behind the seats), this monster was hiding:

From the trail to the tailgate, this rig dropped street-shaking bass and crystal-clear highs — all with DS18’s signature RGB glow.

The Loudest Moments of the Weekend

Every demo, every drop, every build we brought shook Bader Field to its bones. From the first bass hit to the final award, every member of #TEAMDS18 turned audio competitions into full-blown showcases of real truck audio!

Truck sound competition highlights

The 6x6 Gladiator took home Best Jeep at Atlantic City Truck Meet 2025 — and anyone who heard it knows exactly why. That beast rolled in stacked with ZXI subs, RGB tower speakers, and a full DS18 arsenal tuned to perfection.

Crowd reactions to loud car audio showcase

With over 20,000 people flooding Bader Field, the DS18 booth was lit the whole weekend. Crowds never stopped moving, phones were out, jaws were open, and just about everyone had the same question: “What are you running in there?”

But the surprise moment came from the Smith Twins, longtime Jeepers who made a thunderous entrance into the truck scene. Debuting their dual-stage demo truck — Hooligan in the cabin, TRX in the tailgate — their setup bumped so hard, people were pulling out phones before the truck even stopped rolling.

A perfect example of what happens when new blood enters the scene and reaches for the throne. The twins proved you don’t have to be a vet to shake the lot — you just need the right gear.

DS18's loudest speaker setup in action

Shout out to the Smith Twins for running these bad boys in their truck. Their setup turns heads for one reason: it hits harder than anything else on the lot. Here’s what’s behind that wall-shaking power:

EXL-TRX15.4D Subwoofer

  • 3000W RMS / 6000W MAX power handling
  • Reinforced non-pressed paper cone with epoxy coating = strong, responsive bass
  • 4” dual voice coils for high-temp endurance under pressure
  • Built for hard-hitting lows from 10Hz–400Hz — made to shake asphalt

HOOL-X15.1DHE Subwoofer

  • 4000W RMS / 6000W MAX of raw output
  • High-excursion design for insane air movement
  • Carbon fiber dust cap + 500oz magnet = serious SPL and durability
  • Handles brutal bass without flexing — built for real competitors

Fan Engagement and Community Vibes

Our booth at Bader Field turned into the heart of Atlantic City's truck scene. Fans gathered, connected, and created authentic experiences that separate DS18 from the rest.

#TEAMDS18 Meets Knicks Star Mitchell Robinson

Our Atlantic City booth hit a new level when NBA star Mitchell Robinson of the New York Knicks rolled through to check out the DS18 setup. No press release, no promo—just a genuine moment between a pro baller and the brand that runs the meets.

Mitchell spent time exploring our demo wall and getting hands-on with the builds: sparking a wave of selfies, shoutouts, and unfiltered fan excitement across socials.

Moments like this show what DS18 is really about—authentic energy that brings people together. Whether you build, ball, or just love bass, #TEAMDS18 always delivers the best.

This Is How #TEAMDS18 Does It

From pro athletes to pro builders, DS18 was the name on everyone’s lips at Atlantic City. This all-star meetup is just another reason why #TEAMDS18’s bond runs deeper than just products. Every second at Bader Field proved why DS18 remains the undisputed leader in truck audio—because the streets say so.

2025’s already halfway done and we’re not slowing down. Bigger shows. New tech. More trucks. The same mission: build louder, build smarter, and bring the heat every single time.

Now it’s your turn to upgrade. Explore the full DS18 truck audio lineup and find the system that’s built for your ride! Whether you're headed for trails, tailgates, or the next big Jeep event (We're on the road to Bantam) — if it doesn’t say DS18, it’s not ready.
