Lights and Sound at Florida Jeep Jam 2026

Florida Jeep Jam 2026 was a big success, and Team DS18 was there to help make it happen. With a great group of Jeeps, fun events, and impressive sound, we saw it all and played it loud.

The event covered different parts of Panama City Beach, with a lot of action happening in and around the beach. Frank Brown Park was the hot spot for three days of fun, sun, and sound, featuring Extreme Soundz as a dealer for quality car audio. The DS18 Sound Off really brought a crowd, having the Jeeps sit in a half circle formation, letting fans easily move from Jeep to Jeep.

There were plenty of impressive and eye-catching Jeeps in Panama City Beach, but Team DS18 really stood out.

Kingpin

None were as unique as the Kingpin Jeep. Black and green all over, this Jeep is a self-made build that features four DS18 subs and Hooligan H-KO5 amps. One of its most impressive features is a 3D printed amp-style bass knob with one of a kind DS18 flair. If that wasn’t enough, everything in and on this Jeep is custom painted, too. It should come as no surprise that Kingpin won Best Overall at the DS18 Sound Off.

Gengar

Look inside this unique Jeep and you’ll see a dedicated Pokémon build. Featuring Gangar artwork on the exterior, with Master Ball grilles and soundbar. This Jeep also comes with a DS18 speaker mounting tube and two marine tower speakers for added bounce to this spooky build. And in-between the speakers, there’s two Gengars–one small, one big. There’s even a dressed up Pikachu sandwiched between them.

@that16jku and SMD

One Jeep came equipped with something special: SMD by DS18 amplifiers. @that16jku brought two SMD amps to the Jeep Jam: one SMD-2800.5 and one SMD-300.4AB. These amps include a precision attenuation bass knob, acrylic window display, and a digital/analog style LED voltmeter.

Lil’ Red Riding Hood

Souped up and ready for action, Lil’ Red Riding Hood featured a big sound system that covered the whole rear side. With a build that includes 10XL1400 speakers, ZR12 subwoofers, and H-KO10 amp, Little Red came to the Jeep Jam to deliver. The 10XL1400 loudspeakers provide a wide range of sound that complement the booming bass of the ZR12 subwoofers. While the back was full of concentrated sound, the rear door panels were fully stacked with DS18 EXL speakers that gave this setup an extra boost.

Taz

Coming in with plenty of sound was the Taz Jeep, providing the beach with extra oomph from a setup that included 12XL1500 loudspeakers and two EXL-TRX15 subwoofers. Featuring a subtle look that hides its true power, the Taz Jeep knew how to keep the volume at full blast. That attitude kept going during the Sound Off, where plenty of people had a chance to really experience the powerful sound Taz delivered.

Medusa

Keeping things simple but still providing plenty of style was the Medusa. Featuring a black exterior with red seats and tubular doors, this Jeep presented its build with unique horns and enclosures. The setup contained two EXL-TRX15 subwoofers, three 10XL1400 loudspeakers, and four PRO-DRN3 drivers, providing style and sound all in one sleek package.

These Jeeps came with serious power that you can add to your build, too. Here are more details on some of the most noteworthy speakers, subs, tweeters, and amps at Florida Jeep Jam 2026.

The HOOLIGAN H-KO5 is a Korean-made amplifier that makes it easy to monitor your setup and ensure top performance. In addition to having a MAX power output of 5000W, this amp has a built-in voltmeter and temperature meter to make sure your sound never gets too hot to handle.

The ZR12 subwoofer gives you top quality bass with a power rating of 750W RMS / 1500W MAX. It comes with a frequency range of 25Hz-200Hz and a sensitivity of 82dB, delivering rumbling lows with an aluminum voice coil and sleek black look.

The 10XL1400 is a loudspeaker with a power rating of 700W RMS / 1400W MAX, a sensitivity of 98dB, and a frequency range of 60Hz-8kHz. It comes in an aluminum basket and features a Kapton voice coil in a none-pressed paper cone, giving you quality crisp sound with plenty of power.

The EXL-TRX15 is a powerful subwoofer, with a ground shaking power rating of 3000W RMS / 6000W MAX. It includes thermal management systems and a reinforced non-pressed paper cone with epoxy coating, giving you a durable sub and powerful bass that always keeps the party going.

The PRO-DRN3 neodymium driver fits into a horn to provide extra high sounds and clarity. It features a power rating of 450W RMS / 900W MAX, along with an impedance of 8 ohm and a sensitivity of 100dB. For those who want to make sure every sound is heard, this driver is for you.
